Tillandsia cyanea 'Anita' is a stunning variety of air plant that features vibrant pink bracts from which amazing little violet-blue flowers appear! The leaves are thin and silvery-green, which grow in a rosette pattern.
Eventually, the pink quill will fade, after which you can cut it off at the base. Keep the plant though, as this will produce baby plants which can then be potted on to make new plants! In time the original plant will also die back.

It's a very easy plant to care for and can thrive in both bright, indirect light and lower-light environments. It's also one of the few species of air plants that can tolerate direct sunlight for short periods. To care for Tillandsia cyanea 'Anita', mist it with water 2-3 times per week, and water it weekly by directing the water into the rosette.
