Weeping figs are known for being a bit fussy, primarily due to their habit of shedding leaves when conditions aren't perfect! While not especially demanding overall, they do require a stable environment to stay healthy. These plants thrive in bright, indirect light and prefer consistent temperatures above 15°C. Sudden changes, such as draughts, low light, irregular watering, or relocating the plant, can all lead to leaf drop. They can often recover given time and patience! 

 

Always allow the top 20% layer of soil to dry out between waterings. 

 

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.

 

It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
