This low-growing, trailing Peperomia comes from the tropical rainforests of the Americas, where it grows on tree trunks and on mossy floors. Commonly known as “string-of-turtles” due to its small, round leaves patterned with intricate light-green markings that resemble miniature turtle shells!
Its delicate cascading stems make it perfect for hanging pots, shelves and terrariums, where its unique foliage can be displayed to full effect.

Position your Peperomia anywhere where it's not in full sun or too dark. So bright, indirect light or light shade is perfect.
It's always best to underwater these plants as they are drought tolerant and store water in their semi-succulent leaves! Water more frequently in the warmer months, and always allow at least the top 50% of soil to dry out between waterings.
When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.
It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
