Phlebodium aureum, commonly known as the Blue Star Fern, is a striking epiphytic fern native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. It is admired for its distinctive, deeply lobed fronds in a soft blue-green hue with a subtle, almost silvery sheen. Unlike many ferns, it’s relatively tolerant of lower humidity and more forgiving of indoor conditions, making it an excellent choice for homes and offices alike.

Keep the soil fairly moist, but never soggy by always allowing at least the top 30% of soil to dry out between waterings. Either water from below allowing the plant to soak up what it needs, or water from above being careful to avoid the foliage as much as possible.
When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.
It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
