Syngonanthus chrysanthus 'Mikado' likes bright, indirect light and soil that stays lightly moist—don’t let it dry out, but don’t drown it either. It loves humidity, so it would love being positioned in a bathroom or terrarium.

Allow the first two inches of soil to dry out in between waterings. Thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.
