This attractive egg-shaped glass terrarium is very simple in its design, and contains a single Fittonia plant and moss (please be aware that the colour of the Fittonia may vary from the one pictured).
Sealed terrariums like this one create their own moisture, so there’s usually no need to ever water them again. This means they are perfect for the low-maintenance indoor gardener!
The plant's roots absorb the moisture which is then transported up the stems and into the leaves. The moisture is then expelled into the air and because it doesn’t have anywhere to go, it forms as condensation on the sides of the glass, trickling back down into the soil and then the process starts again!
