Strelitzia reginae | Bird-of-Paradise

Position your Bird-of-Paradise somewhere where it will get lots of bright light. It can go in full sun, but this may need to be done on a gradual basis to acclimatise it.

Water when the top 30% of soil is dry and make sure its never sat in water as they can easily develop root rot. Feed regularly to encourage new lush growth.

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.

It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
