  • Position your Mexican Giant Cardon somewhere nice and bright where it will receive at least three hours of full sun, making it ideal for a south facing windowsill.

Always allow the soil to dry out completely in between waterings as they are drought tolerant and store water in their fleshy leaves! About once every 2-3 weeks should be enough through the spring, summer, and autumn, and then leave them to go without any water at all from November to February.

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.

It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
